I'm Peter Arnott-Job. I've spent 25 years in magazine publishing and 10 years bringing up children.
Started as a junior reporter, climbed up the ladder into editorial management then general publishing management before redundancy in the early 1990s sent me sliding down a snake.
Clambered back up the ladder into senior editorial management before dropping out of the game altogether when I chose family ahead of career.
I've developed my writing skills throughout my career (writing leaders when I was a managing director, for example) and since;  as well as attending a couple of courses at the University of Sussex (I graduated with an MA in Creative and Critical Writing in January 2008) I've written successful funding bids and business plans for charities and social enterprises.
